Police report or related documents and communications on abduction
Dear Liberian National Police,
I am a law student. I am acting as Olympas Earley’s student representative under the supervision of Attorney Jon Bauer.
Pursuant to Liberia’s 2010 Freedom of Information Act, I am requesting that the Liberian National Police release the following records: any notes, police reports, investigatory findings, or similar materials involving the abduction of Ansel Williams from Monrovia, Liberia, around January 2019. The incident involved two men abducting and drugging Ansel Williams from his school on the Firestone Plantation. The taxi driver hired to drive the men later went to the police in the Red Light District of Monrovia, Liberia, to make a report. Soon afterwards, a police officer met with Vivian Williams to return her son. Olympas Earley is Vivian's sister.
If any exemption exists under Chapter 4, Section 4.3, please send me all non-exempt portions of these records. If possible, I would like these records in a scanned PDF form.
Please respond so I know you are in receipt of my request.
Respectfully,
Molly Turban
