Liberia Drugs Enforcement Agency [LDEA], Ministry of Justice, Republic of Liberia 

Dear Mr. Director General:

Ref: Request for Miss. Quita D. Koso’s Trial.

I write to request for the status of Miss. Quita D. Koso who caught with illegal narcotic drugs/Cocain on July 14, 2025.

About ten months ago, Miss. Koso was charged with “illegal possession of narcotic drugs/cocain” and she was forwarded to court for pre trial.

And according to your release dated July 14, 2025, her offenses were non-bailable ones under the revised drug laws, but the public is yet to hear/see any proceedings from the case. 

Howbeit, I need answers to the following questions:

• Is she still in detention? If yes, what is the Agency waiting for to prosecute her? 

• Has she been tried before the court and acquitted? I need some supporting documents to your response. 

• what is the actual status of this case?
